Viscose from bamboo sheets, made for Manila heat

Islaya Home is a sheet set for warm, humid Philippine nights. It's woven as a sateen from viscose from bamboo, a smooth fibre made from bamboo pulp, so it feels silky and cool against the skin.

It's for anyone who runs warm at night, and for bedrooms where the aircon only does so much. We're making it in true PH Queen and King sizes, so it fits the beds we actually sleep in.

Questions

What is viscose from bamboo?

It's a fabric made from bamboo pulp, which is dissolved and spun into a smooth fibre called viscose (also known as rayon). We weave it as a sateen for a silky, cool hand feel. We label it honestly as viscose from bamboo.

Are these sheets good for hot sleepers?

Viscose-from-bamboo sateen feels smooth and cool to the touch, which is why many people who sleep hot choose it for warm, humid nights. Rather than make promises, we'll publish our own fabric test results before launch.

What sizes will you make?

Queen (60 × 75 in) and King (72 × 75–78 in), in Philippine bed sizes, with a 16-inch pocket so the fitted sheet stays on deeper mattresses.

How much will a set cost?

Launch pricing will be announced to the launch list first, together with a founding-member price for people who signed up early.

Do you ship in the Philippines?

Yes. We're launching in the Philippines first. Shipping areas, fees and delivery times will be shared with the launch list before we open orders.

How does the launch list work?

Leave your email; your name, city, bed size and color pick are optional. We'll email you launch news, the founding-member price and an invite to feel the fabric. We never sell your details, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
